I have made a “passaport” is a big size (aproximately 50cm higth by 30cm) it’s called “dupla identidade/ doble indentidad” in english “double identity”.
The text that a companies the book all was entirely made in original litographs, are poems by mister armando freitas filho, a very renowed poet in Brazil.
it was made during the 90’s and it was a great success.
it deal passaports of my jewish family that came from Ucrânia to Brazil first from Berlin and also from Paris were they established in the 30’s.
I received a card board box full of documents and photographs from the oldest person alive in my family that collected all passports of my ancestors that i never met from Russia.
Arriving at the airport, i was surprised by the beauty of the documents. all the stamps, dates, rubber marks, signatures, different languages, different handwrttings and lives. people that abandoned their identity to a assume a new live in different countries and people.
